About Group Classes at Mend Loft

Group Classes will help you improve your postural alignment and fitness conditioning in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Some people prefer immersive group activities. Aside from private coaching, we also offer group classes to complement your personalized home program.

The following group classes are designed to help you relax and manage stress, strengthen and stretch your body, stay healthy and work on posture alignment. Enjoy a group atmosphere with others who also take their well-being to heart.

Classes will be even more helpful once you have gone through an individualized postural assessment to determine what is most important for you to work on.

These sessions are designed to support you toward continuous improvement of your posture and your body’s capacity to mend itself. The Mend method will help you perform better during daily activities and support your body's ability to rest and recover well. Our classes are expertly guided to help you to reinforce proper movement patterns.

Mend Reset and Restore Group Class

Mend Reset & Restore

Even the strongest athletes need recovery time to perform at their best. Building recovery time into any exercise program is important because continuous stress of any kind can weaken us.

Adequate rest and recovery allows the body and mind to adapt to daily stresses, build resiliency and mend itself. Allow time for mental reflection and reconnect to your body, mind and spirit. Enjoy a complete reset and tap into the body's innate ability to heal by stimulating the relaxation response through focused breathing, slow movement, yoga asana, progressive muscle relaxation and body scanning.

The Mend Reset and Restore class will also help improve the natural range of motion of the major joints in the body. Through various stretching methods, myofascial release techniques and coherence breathing, we will enhance flexibility, improve circulation and reduce pain.

Mend ReAlign

Realign your body from head to toes.
Stay happy, healthy, and active with functional exercises that reduce your risk of injury and decrease the wear and tear on your musculoskeletal system. Explore postural alignment exercises and the fundamentals of the Egoscue Method®.

Balance your body's musculoskeletal system and realign from the feet, ankles, knees, hips and shoulders. The sequence of movements include standing, sitting, kneeling, prone and supine positions.

Mend ReAlign Group Class

When done properly and in the right sequence, Egoscue exercises eliminate abnormal stress and strain on our musculoskeletal system and reduces the risk of injury by encouraging the body to work as a well balanced system.

Our Mend ReAlign class is a foundation-building posture class designed to balance every muscle in the body to ultimately aid in pain issues stemming from postural dysfunction.

Mend FunFit Group Class

Mend FunFit

Posture therapy reminds us to straighten then strengthen.
Once your posture is aligned and you are well recovered from pain or injury, you may like to progress to functional fitness classes to keep your body in motion. Trying to strengthen a body that has dysfunctional patterns will eventually lead to more pain, stiffness and possible injury. Correct your old patterns, poor posture and « bad habits » with a well designed fitness routine to keep your body well tuned. This class is circuit training style including the use of body weight exercises, TRX, rebounder, elastics, stability disks and balls.
