Who is Laura Warf

For over three decades, I have helped people reclaim the freedom to move well and stay active, enjoying the things they love. By improving posture, reducing pain, optimizing energy, and increasing resilience to stress, I guide others to feel at home and at ease within themselves. When we move better, we feel better.

As a postural alignment therapist, movement specialist, personal trainer, yoga teacher, and empowerment coach, my goal is to help you feel strong, flexible, and energized. I empower people to become more health-conscious, release pain, and enjoy happier, healthier lives through functional movement, body awareness, and a holistic approach.

Laura Warf of Mend Loft

Growing up in the Laurentians of Quebec, Canada, I was always active, from sailing and swimming in the summer to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Decades of fitness training have now evolved into a focus on "friendly fitness" to keep my body well tuned up to keep the aches and pains at bay. You'll find me hiking, walking on the beach with my husband Ian and our Golden Retriever Shiva, or biking around town.

After 30 years as a movement educator, fitness club manager, and yoga/wellness studio owner, I now operate Mend Loft posture therapy and fitness conditioning along with Egoscue Portland posture therapy clinic. It’s inspiring to see people rediscover the joy of living without pain. We all have a fun-loving kid inside who wants to stay active and enjoy life. As adults, we can relearn how to move freely and live a vibrant, functionally fit life.

I've dedicated my career to helping people take care of their bodies, minds, and spirits for a happier, healthier life. I founded The School of Happiness in Canada along with our French partner Espace Bonheur, offering online classes and workshops, and the Mend My Back Program, specializing in back pain recovery.

I stay at the forefront of my field by attending and teaching at conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses. My dedication to fitness and healthy living ensures I deliver the highest quality of care to my clients.
