As a postural alignment therapist, movement specialist, personal trainer, yoga teacher and empowerment coach, I am motivated to empower people to become more health-conscious, release pain and feel good in their bodies so that they can live a happier, healthier lives doing what they love most. Functional movement, body awareness and a holistic approach are keys to a healthy, strong and supple body.

I grew up in the Laurentians of Quebec, Canada with an active family. Enjoying the cottage in the summer meant spending hours on the water sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and swimming. We traveled around our country roads by bike and in the winter months we were found carving turns on the ski hills and making trails by snowshoeing with friends and family. I spent decades in the gym with my coaches to stay fit for cycling, skiing, bodybuilding and life.  Now in my fifth decade of life, I opt for "friendly fitness" to keep my body moving and grooving well and keep the aches and pains few and far between. You'll find me on the hiking trails or walking on the beach with my husband Ian and Golden Retriever Shiva or cruising around town on my bike as I commute to work while I enjoy the beauty nature has to offer each day.

Even after 30 years of sharing my passion for movement as an educator, it is inspiring to witness people rediscover the joy and freedom that comes from being able to stay active and live without pain. Let's face it, when something hurts it is less fun to move and groove through life.

Design a functional body that carries you well through life long term. I believe that inside we are all fun-loving kids who still want to stay active, bike, run, jump, play, crawl, laugh and roll around. As grown-ups, we simply forgot how to move freely and enjoy life with a fit body and mind. The good news is, we can relearn these important fundamentals to live a more vibrant, functionally fit life and get our bounce back.

I have dedicated my career to providing diligent care to women and men who strive to take care of their bodies, minds and spirits so that they can lead a happier, healthier, and a more fit life. I am passionate about ensuring that every client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

I founded and co-founded businesses all designed to help people feel good and move well, some of which are still in operation : The School of Happiness, and it's French sibling Espace Bonheur, offer online classes and workshops to promote movement and living well, and the Mend My Back Program that also offers online learning that specializes in back pain and back recovery. 

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to staying at the forefront of my field by regularly attending and teaching at conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses and by walking the talk by being a mindful mover. My dedication to fitness and healthy living allows me to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in health, fitness, happiness and well-being to deliver the highest quality of care to my clients.
